DIARY OF A 'failed' ACTOR-Ep #7-Part II-ABOUT UNIONS: SAG-AFTRA & AEA

As you may be aware, the U.S. is heavily unionized, and though there is plenty of non-union work available, it is naturally nowhere near as well paid as the SAG-AFTRA or full AEA roles, and as a performing artist you are not protected as you are when a union member.

So, in this Blog we will be looking at why it is important to be a member of these two unions in the States, how that can be achieved, and what are the added benefits of being a fully paid up union member.
